About hardanger

Hardanger is traditionaly white on white. White linen, with white linen threads. But nothing stops you from experimenting with the colourful palette of pearl cotton available.

Here is an example of an hardanger decorative cushion done on red even-weave with black cotton. Under is a white pillow, with feather stuffing. Quite an interesting combination.
