Lithographes

Posted on April 26, 2010 at 5:08 AM

I was asked several times if there was a way to choose which pattern I would chart next. So here is a litle selection fo some of my collection and if there is anything that you would really want to see me work on next just leave a comment, or send me an e-mail.

Those here are lithographes, and typographes.

Hi Virginie, in the top photo I am interested in the small red and green geometric design next to the roses and the design beneath the dog in the kennel as well as the one next to it, I want to make a victorian waistcoat for the dollhouse on 75 count silk gauze and don't want to use flowers. In the bottom photo I am interested in the pitcure of the house next to the lake. The lady with the tree is just to die for.

The lady with the tree is really a beauty, but the face and hands are to be stitches in petit points, so is the bird, hands and some details. That will be a challenge to make into a chart that people can work from...
I'll work on the geometrical patterns, they are really neat little bits.
After I placed all those photos on the site I found I had forgotten a whole pile of patterns somewhere else, so I'll post more photos later.
I also have patterns in bound books of old magazines....it will take forever to chart everything, but it is a way to preserve our past.
