I am French, my husband Kyle is Norwegian. We have four beautiful, lively children. Roland, Alain, Emilie and Rosaline.
Our household is also complimented by three cats, a little hamster, and two birds.
Our little 1824 house, right at the foot of a high cliff. It is not too big ( 80m2) , but it's cosy and warm during the long, dark Norwegian winters.
The pleasure of old houses are the little treasures you find. Like last summer when I found a Norwegian 1\2 shilling from 1867 in my flower bed.
The draw back is that everything is old, broken, outdated, crooked and covered in 10 layers of paint. But then, that is the charm...Isn't it ?
